Happy Birthday Unnle Jake!!

We love you and hope your day is as wonderful as you are!

Jake is an awesome brother, uncle, son, and friend.  He is patient and funny, creative and generous.  Jack loves going bug-hunting with him, looking for spider webs and other insects.  They do art together, and all the other typical Uncle-nephew things like wrestling, reading books, watching cartoons, and telling stories.  Jake got to meet Charlotte during his visit and he was a natural with her, calming her and helping get her to sleep.  Of course he also earned some awesome Charli-smiles as well.  We miss him but know he won't be gone forever, and we are proud of him for so many different reasons.

Tell me what Uncle Jake is like.

"Um. He likes me. He likes to hug me."

What do you do together?

"Um. Play."

What do you play together?

"We play balls.  So with Jake, I hug him."

Did he get you something special for Christmas?

"Yeah, he made me a picture to bring home."
